About > Accreditation
ICAL is always keen to demonstrate our commitment to provide you with the best possible service. On this page you can read how we do this, including our accreditations and partners.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met.
ICAL is an ISO9001 Certified Business! We first worked towards achieving certification in the year 2000. This was followed by a full on-site audit by independent UKAS accredited inspectors. We continue to be audited by 3rd party inspectors annually in order to retain our certified status.
The British Learning Association (BLA) is a centre of expertise that produces best practice examples, identifies trends and disseminates information on both innovative and well-established techniques and technologies for learning.
ICAL actively uses BLA research to extend and improve our software. The BLA is a registered charity and operates on a non-profit making basis. The non-commercial status means that the Association can offer an independent view without bias to any one sector.
ICAL is a subscriber to the Microsoft MSDN Subscriptions library.
This means we get full access to all the latest computing technology as well as all of Microsofts current and future operating systems.
The subscription allows us to develop our next generation software and test it on Microsofts next generation systems before they are released to the general public. This allows us to ensure our software works correctly with the operating systems of the future!
The partnership of ICAL and Checkmate Publishing is a long standing success story!

The FSB is a non-profit making and non-party political organisation.
